GirlBoy is hosting a celebration of our 2018 Fall/Winter Collections. The event is bringing together buyers, artists and industry leaders to view the second collection from this up and coming new brand, which is going to present different lines, The GirBoy New York Collection and GirlBoy Weekend.
Morgan Hoffman is the muse, creative spark and designer of GirlBoy. “I want to create clothing in my personal style of femininity with a twist of boy,” says Morgan, “Pieces that become part of your permanent collection, because of how you feel in them. “From a design point of view, everyone is both male and female. This is a recognition of what is happening in the world right now.”
The invitation-only event is being held on April 18th at The Crosby Street Hotel (Prince Room), from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. To learn more, please contact Jennifer@Girlboy.com.
The GirlBoy Morgan Hoffman Collection is made up of signature pieces made with gorgeous structure, fit, and quality that personify our design aesthetic of femininity with a twist of boy. Inspired by iconic film, and the women that created them, such as Faye Dunaway by Terry O’Neil, Charlotte Rampling by Helmut Newton, Lauren Hutton by Irving Penn, and Penelope Tree by Richard Avedon. The collection is a series of beautiful contrasts including feminine power suits, flowing silks, rich velvets, Studio54 metallics, and classic lace.
GirlBoy Weekend is inspired by the singular style of Diane Keaton and the effortless chic that Katherine Hepburn adopted every day and into the weekend. There’s classic tailoring, but the clothes have a natural flow and ease to them. These are your go-to-pieces, whether you are at the ranch in Montana, the coastline of Mendocino, your Hamptons beach house, or just staying in the City.
